New way of Being…

Being Present in the moment, includes the awareness that everything is new. That we do not know anything. That everything is fresh and new. All things may now mean something to us, than previously thought. We may see things very differently. We may experience things very differently.

By taking the time to slow down and approach EVERYTHING with this not knowing anything into our daily awareness. We let go more and more of assuming we know. Of responding to people, things we read, through the eyes of past conditioning. Of assuming we know.

Many are on automatic pilot, so to speak. They automatically read something, hear something, respond to something based on what they assume it means. Based on the past.

Part of Being Present is Practising Being Present.

Recognizing the Past does not need to play a role now.

We can start fresh. Through TRULY approaching all experiences in front of us (in the moment) through releasing and practising not assuming we know what is in front of us.

So many are living in a state of constant assuming. Caught up in the never-ending loop of assumptions.

To Be Present is to be FULLY here now. Free from past conditioning.

Past beliefs.

Letting go of ASSUMING is a huge leap in consciousness. Recognizing past assumptions, is a Huge Quantum Leap in consciousness as well.

When you read things, slow down. Do not assume you know. Be OPEN to the gift of expansion. Look at all things, communications, through the eyes of Newness. Of understanding IT IS NEW. You Do not know.

This place and space of Being, is the openness that ALLOWS you to HAVE new EYES. To SEE all things from an aspect of this newness. Free from your past conditioning.

Begin to practise this, if you are not. YOU then are applying your will, to the present moment of awareness, of expansion.

Part of this is letting go of wanting things to be a certain way.

Not living in fear of experiencing pain.

Embrace pain. TRUST. Trust what is present. Let go of assuming. Of feeling you know how it needs to be. That nothing is new. It is you that is holding on to the old way.

Embracing everything with the WILLINGNESS to accept all things, as they are. NOT how you want it to be. How you feel they should be.

But with the HUMBLENESS of not knowing, not judging, not attempting to negotiate changes. So that you get things that you want.

This is not about the smaller self getting its way. Getting what you want.

It is about going through all experiences, in Harmony.

Letting go of the struggling, the control, and surrendering, is the Path. It is the path, or it is denial of the path.

Practising Being Present, letting go of assumptions. Approaching everything with the openness of a child. That YOU DO NOT KNOW. Is the path that is an accelerated path. That releases those old beliefs which helps you to truly always live in the new. Which is living in the moment.

Read this again, with the awareness you do not know what this means. Especially if you read this and assumed you understood. Open to what is new.

HOW else can you open to something more expanded. We must give ROOM for the expansion. That takes place through the beginners mind. The child like mind. The awareness of living as if all is new. The awareness of the present moment. This is how to truly receive.

Awakening to the New..

The purpose of Awakening is to evolve spiritually and to have everyday life be One with and as our spiritual life; in other words, to live in our spiritual Integrity. To do this, each must express themselves in their highest and truest way; in complete Authenticity. When you do this and you drop old labels and past history and are in the Moment, you are in complete Integrity. Integrity is not based in old ways of being; it is being in your Soul’s Truth in that Moment…and this shifts. Everything in the New shifts; it is not meant to be static and stuck in one expression. When you keep things simple and remain in the Moment, you will authentically express your Integrity; the Truth of who you are…in that Moment, based on how you feel and when you are aligned with your Heart. In this way, you express your gifts, your Love and your Light with all. You become the Lighthouse, guiding lost ships to the safe shores of their own Heart.

         You do this by being you; not through a job or an intention or a “supposed-to.”You teach through example; by being authentically you. You don’t teach to get results; you simply shine and others then have a choice as to how they choose to be. When you share with no expectations and no attachment to outcome, you are on your Path. When you follow your inner guidance in each Moment, you are on your Path. When you only do what resonates with you, you are on your Path. You are fully supported and the way is clear for you to be more. When you disengage from the illusions of the old world, you are on your Path. When you stay positive in each Moment regardless of what your dualistic mind might tell you, you are on your Path…your Path of Awakening; your main purpose.

         When in doubt or confusion, surrender to the essence of Simplicity. In the New, things are simple and clear. There is no pandering to the intellect. Simplicity is of the Heart. When you are not sure what to believe or what direction to go in, become still and silent. Go with your feeling. Sometimes this means to not do anything, so trust in Divine Order and Divine Time. When you let go and let be, you will be guided…when it is the perfect time for you. The letting go is letting go of pushing things to happen. This creates stress and there is no stress in the New, for stress is resistance. Surrender to what is and trust that when all is aligned, you will be guided to your next step.
Realize that you are perfectly where it is best for you to be for your highest learning and evolving. When in Acceptance, you release the resistance or doubt or confusion. This then leads to Movement and Awareness. The lower energies of doubt and confusion are contrary to Soul’s knowing. Never doubt that you are guided by Soul. Are you listening? It may take slowing down and a release of intellectually questioning everything. It is perfectly fine to rest in Stillness. Have Faith; be strong in your knowing and trusting.
          Watch where you believe you are separate. Religion separates; politics separate; judgment separates; using the term “us and them” separates; labels and titles separate. We are not separate. We mirror each other so that we may evolve more. When you feel separate or better or worse than anyone, ask what you are learning about yourself. Where within do you manifest separation? Do you feel you are better than others; more intelligent; better off; worse off; prettier or uglier; jealous…all of these separate. Do you, in the deeper recesses of you, believe you are not Divine or are separate from Source?

Living a New Purpose…

Purpose isn’t a label; it is expressing ourselves authentically in everything we do and are…wherever we are and in whatever we do. We limit ourselves by claiming we are this or that. We are limitless.
Be who you are and in this way, you are fulfilling one of your purposes. You are not just one thing; you are multidimensional. You express yourself in many different ways. You express yourself one way in sharing your gifts; in another way within each relationship you have. In the old, you limited yourself by assigning yourself a role. In the New, you do not have a role to play, for you share who you are in any given moment as you are guided. Now is the time to share the essence of who you are and from that essence; you express yourself in many different ways. You are free to choose your experience in each moment. 
Flowing allows you to shift in whatever direction you choose. Being free means to let go of self-imposed rules…what is appropriate or not appropriate according to your culture and upbringing; what is right or what is wrong…you are here to express your true nature; your Soul. You can change your direction in any moment. You can free yourself from imposed-upon beliefs. You can try on many expressions and discard them at will if they don’t align with you.
Wholeness is embracing and being all of who we are; not just this aspect or that aspect. We are shape-shifters. We are not bound by others’ judgments or rules. We can choose to be freely ourselves or stay locked up in old beliefs and limitations. We don’t have to stick to one thing; we can flow in and out of anything. This definitely may go against your old rules of staying in a relationships because you’re supposed to (or do anything you’re supposed to) or stay in a miserable job for perceived security or continue with certain behaviors because others expect that of you. There are many examples of how we have held ourselves back from being free and authentic.

When we clear ourselves of old rules, expectations and assumptions, we open up to new gifts. Expectations are based on old beliefs and are focused on the future and often in the illusory “hopeful wishing.” Assumptions are also based on old beliefs and each being’s history and does not allow for anything New. To be New, we must drop our history and our old stories. It requires us to be innocent and see things through new eyes with no preconceived ideas of how things should be. Is this easy? No, because up to this point, everything we have perceived has been based on past experiences when separate ego ruled the way we were; separate ego only knows the past. True Self is in the present moment only. It has no use for the past. The New has no use for the past. The past is the past and is based on limited information; this is both on a personal and global level. The next time you are with someone you have known for a while, pretend you just met them. Gone is your history with them; gone are the preconceived ideas you have about them; and you open to meeting them in the truth of the Moment and in Innocence and Love.

Scientists Prove That Telepathic Communication Is Within Reach

An international research team develops a way to say “hello” with your mind

n a recent experiment, a person in India said “hola” and “ciao” to three other people in France. Today, the Web, smartphones and international calling might make that not seem like an impressive feat, but it was. The greetings were not spoken, typed or texted. The communication in question happened between the brains of a set of study subjects, marking one of the first instances of brain-to-brain communication on record.

The team, whose members come from Barcelona-based research institute Starlab, French firm Axilum Robotics and Harvard Medical School, published its findings earlier this month in the journal PLOS One. Study co-author Alvaro Pascual-Leone, director of the Berenson-Allen Center for Noninvasive Brain Stimulation at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a neurology professor at Harvard Medical School, hopes this and forthcoming research in the field will one day provide a new communication pathway for patients who might not be able to speak.

“We want to improve the ways people can communicate in the face of limitations—those who might not be able to speak or have sensory impairments,” he says. “Can we work around those limitations and communicate with another person or a computer?”

Pascual-Leone’s experiment was successful—the correspondents neither spoke, nor typed, nor even looked at one another. But he freely concedes that the test was more a proof of concept than anything else, and the technique still has a long way to go. “It’s still very, very early,” he says, “[but] we can show that this is even possible with technology that’s available. It’s the difference between talking on the phone and sending Morse code. To get where we’re going, you need certain steps to be taken first.”

Indeed, the process was drawn out, if not downright inelegant. First, the team had to establish binary-code equivalents of letters; for example “h” is “0-0-1-1-1.” Then, with EEG (electroencephalography) sensors attached to the scalp, the sender moved either his hands or feet to indicate a 1 or a 0. The code then passed to the recipient over email. On the other end, the receiver was blindfolded with a transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) system on his head. (TMS is a non-invasive method of stimulating neurons in the brain; it’s most commonly used to treat depression.) The TMS headset stimulated the recipient’s brain, causing him to see quick flashes of light. A flash was equivalent to a “1” and a blank was a “0.” From there, the code was translated back into text. It took about 70 minutes to relay the message.

 

How Brain-to-Brain Communication Works(Grau, C., et al. PLOS ONE 2014)

There is a bit of contention about the degree to which this approach was actually novel. IEEE Spectrum reports that this recent study is quite similar to one conducted at the University of Washington last year. In that study, researchers used the same EEG-to-TMS setup, but rather than pulsed light, stimulated the brain’s motor cortex to subconsciously cause the recipient to strike a key on a keyboard. Pascual-Leone contends, however, that his work is notable because the recipient was conscious of the communication.

Both studies represent only a small step toward engineering telepathy, which might take years—or decades—to perfect. Ultimately, the goal is to remove the computer middleman from the transmission equation and allow direct brain-to-brain communication between people. “We’re still a long way from that,” Pascual-Leone admits, “but in the end, I think it’s a pursuit worthy of the effort.”

Outside of medicine, brain-to-brain communication could find applications across many disciplines. Soldiers, for instance, could use the technology on the battlefield, sending commands and warnings to one another. Civilians might benefit, as well; businesspeople could use it to send cues to partners during negotiations, or pitchers and catchers could avoid sign-stealing during baseball games.

Still, telepathic communication that works like a sort of futuristic walkie-talkie will involve major advances in sensing, emitting and receiving technologies—and perhaps even a slight retraining of the human brain. At the same time, Pascual-Leone cautions that scientists must also keep in mind the ethics of telepathy.

“Could there be potential for sending someone a thought that’s not desirable to them?” he says. “Those kinds of things are theoretically in the realm of possibility.”

 

Live in the Now….

The Purpose of life is not about the ego getting what it wants. That is how you know if you are functioning through your ego, also. As the ego always wants something that is not present. It is never satisfied with NOW. What is. It is always seeking and searching for something more.

What about Now?

Is this enough for You?

Yet, through the processes you are going through and what may seem painful, is the process of letting go. Once you have let go of your attachments and the desire of the wants no longer guiding your life, then you are free from the suffering, that ultimately, your desire to be free from.

That is why it seems so backwards. As if what you want is painful. Yet it is not the desires that are painful, it is the constant endless never being present. Never appreciating what is. In the appreciating what is, comes the KNOWING and appreciation of the Soul.

Be the Change….

Observe your intentions, for you have a core connection to Love that desires improvement for All Life, including yourself. That self-preservation is in-built into All Life. Even one that is resolute in their victim hood and blaming you for it, is just preserving the self. It is an act of Love and merely a fear-based survival mechanism.

To evolve, you must look beyond the obvious. Each being must. There is a separation and a sovereignty that is a functionality of the Earth experience. Your free will is an internal experience. This is necessary for each being to grow their unique courage.

With this understanding of free will being internal, you have your clue to Changing the World. You change it from within. You change it from the core. You do not just allow an action in a moment to be the defining factor. You look within, at the core of what is being said in the quiet voice of Love seeking connection. This then incorporates the present moment and the future potential. You are utilizing the full flow of Time.

For Change to take root, it is invisible at first. For Change to take root, safety is paramount, yet it is this rooting that provides the safety. That which you fear, lean into gently in your heart, and allow the harmony of Life to soothe you into perceiving a new possibility, even if it is undefined in the moment.

 

What silent solution hasn’t been given voice? What potential is growing beneath the surface that isn’t obvious? What seed of the future will you water and nurture into growth? Will you trust in the flow of Life that when a seed is planted and nurtured, it Changes? Be that Change.

 

To Change the World, change your inner world, change your perspective, see a potential that is not obvious in the moment.

 

To Change the World, hold your vibration of harmony within that emanates silently outward, even in the midst of chaos.

 

To Change the World, take actions that come from your inner knowing that more than just the obvious is changing.

 

Do not let fear or suffering throw you out of your state of Conscious Peace. Allow your wholeness to reign, it solves the deep issues that create the chaos that humanity is experiencing. It is the salve to soothe the suffering that many human beings are unconsciously creating.

We are all creating an energy flow from our thoughts constantly whether we are being mindful of it or not. Fear can be a fierce creator of negative energy in our lives if we don’t become willing to witness where we choose it over love. When we are in a state of love it feels natural to offer blessings, be generous with our time and to speak positively. Here are a few questions to ask yourself to make sure you’re making enough room for positive energy flow in your life!

1.) Are you meditating upon waking?

Starting your day off in prayer or meditation allows us to focus on what we are grateful for, set intentions and simply become present. Apply this powerful practice daily for a positive vibe throughout your day!

2.) Do you feel the need to control?

Despite our best efforts to control everything the truth is the Universe is orchestrating the show! Resisting the natural flow of things only causes stress that in response creates negative energy in our life. The sooner you make peace with surrendering the sooner you’ll start to be at peace and allow positive thoughts to flow.

3.) Are you taking enough down time?

With today’s “glorification of busy” mindset it can feel almost impossible to find the balance between moving our body and finding down time! Downtime is a powerful tool to guide us into our hearts, heal and detox our bodies, and gain insight into our ideas and creativity! Make the shifts necessary to schedule a little rest and relaxation.

4.) Do you love and accept yourself just as you are right now?

The way we feel and talk about ourselves is ultimately attracting the energy we will receive from others. Focus on all the qualities you love about yourself by making a list…add to it everyday!!!

 

Silence is Golden….

Regenerated brain cells may be just a matter of silence.

 A 2013 study on mice published in the journal Brain, Structure and Functionused differed types of noise and silence and monitored the effect the sound and silence had on the brains of the mice. The silence was intended to be the control in the study but what they found was surprising. The scientists discovered that when the mice were exposed to two hours of silence per day they developed new cells in the hippocampus. The hippocampus is a region of the brain associated with memory, emotion and learning.

The growth of new cells in the brain does not necessarily translate to tangible health benefits. However, in this instance, researcher Imke Kirste says that the cells appeared to become functioning neurons.

“We saw that silence is really helping the new generated cells to differentiate into neurons, and integrate into the system.”

In this sense silence can quite literally grow your brain.

The brain is actively internalizing and evaluating information during silence

A 2001 study defined a “default mode” of brain function that showed that even when the brain was “resting” it was perpetually active internalizing and evaluating information.

Follow-up research found that the default mode is also used during the process of self-reflection. In 2013, in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, Joseph Moran et al. wrote, the brain’s default mode network “is observed most closely during the psychological task of reflecting on one’s personalities and characteristics (self-reflection), rather than during self-recognition, thinking of the self-concept, or thinking about self-esteem, for example.”

When the brain rests it is able to integrate internal and external information into “a conscious workspace,” said Moran and colleagues.

When you are not distracted by noise or goal-orientated tasks, there appears to be a quiet time that allows your conscious workspace to process things. During these periods of silence, your brain has the freedom it needs to discover its place in your internal and external world.

The default mode helps you think about profound things in an imaginative way.

As Herman Melville once wrote, “All profound things and emotions of things are preceded and attended by silence.”

Silence relieves stress and tension.

It has been found that noise can have a pronounced physical effect on our brains resulting in elevated levels of stress hormones. The sound waves reach the brain as electrical signals via the ear. The body reacts to these signals even if it is sleeping. It is thought that the amygdalae (located in the temporal lobes of the brain) which is associated with memory formation and emotion is activated and this causes a release of stress hormones. If you live in a consistently noisy environment that you are likely to experience chronically elevated levels of stress hormones.

A study that was published in 2002 in Psychological Science (Vol. 13, No. 9) examined the effects that the relocation of Munich’s airport had on children’s health and cognition. Gary W. Evans, a professor of human ecology at Cornell University notes that children who are exposed to noise develop a stress response that causes them to ignore the noise. What is of interest is that these children not only ignored harmful stimuli they also ignored stimuli that they should be paying attention to such as speech.

“This study is among the strongest, probably the most definitive proof that noise – even at levels that do not produce any hearing damage – causes stress and is harmful to humans,” Evans says.

Silence seems to have the opposite effect of the brain to noise. While noise may cause stress and tension silence releases tension in the brain and body. A study published in the journal Heart discovered that two minutes of silence can prove to be even more relaxing than listening to “relaxing” music. They based these findings of changes they noticed in blood pressure and blood circulation in the brain.

Silence replenishes our cognitive resources.

The effect that noise pollution can have on cognitive task performance has been extensively studied. It has been found that noise harms task performance at work and school. It can also be the cause of decreased motivation and an increase in error making.  The cognitive functions most strongly affected by noise are reading attention, memory and problem solving.

Studies have also concluded that children exposed to households or classrooms near airplane flight paths, railways or highways have lower reading scores and are slower in their development of cognitive and language skills.

But it is not all bad news. It is possible for the brain to restore its finite cognitive resources. According to the attention restoration theory when you are in an environment with lower levels of sensory input the brain can ‘recover’ some of its cognitive abilities. In silence the brain is able to let down its sensory guard and restore some of what has been ‘lost’ through excess noise.
