It is imperative to be cognizant of where you’re placing your thoughts. This doesn’t mean that you can’t have one single bad thought. We’ve all had them. The most important aspect is to learn from these thoughts and to understand why that particular thought arose. Sometimes, these thought will come to us as a way of reflecting that of which we need to work upon, so try to look at it from an objective observer perspective and you’ll know exactly why that thought occurred.
You can practice sending the thought pattern of love anytime you’re out in public. For example, if you’re at a mall, simply smile at people and in your mind, say, “I love you.” The smile alone can change the world in a positive way…..the love can send waves of energy that have profound effects as does the above water/thought experiment shows.
